Occupational Therapist (PRN)

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Senior Occupational Therapist, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. OTR to perform evaluations and treatments, primarily in acute care but if candidate has OP experience/interest, would cross train.  Minimum must work 2 weekend days / month, 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend.  Ideal candidate has weekday availability in addition to weekends to help with staff coverage and peaks in census.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

LICENSE/CERT: Required: OTR (Occupational Therapist), NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
