Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: The Senior Director- Surgical and Interventional Services provides oversight and is accountable for administrative, financial, regulatory, quality, and operational performance for Perioperative Services to include to Operating Room locations, SPD, Pre-op, PACU, GI Services, Pain Management Nursing Services. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing, and executing operational plans and strategy that support strategic objectives of the organization and service lines, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of the assigned departments and new programs. Participates with the other Senior Directors in assisting with the overall management of the Hospital's operations. We are a Magnet� designated facility and a Level II Trauma hospital.
EXPERIENCE:Ten (10) years of Operating Room administrative experience in hospital and a minimum of 3-5 years Operating Room Clinical Experience OTHER SKILLS:Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage culture change in a complex matrixed environment.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement service line strategies that supports sustainability and preeminence of key programs.Demonstrated operational expertise in the procedure/diagnostics environment.Ability to make decisions on fact and sound judgment.Strong financial acumen and business development skills.Evidence of the ability to plan, implement and evaluate change.Evidence of the ability to promote and maintain good interpersonal relationships.Proven leadership and communication skills.Proven skills in personnel management.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri Preferred: CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room)
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Nursing, Masters - Hospital Administration, Masters - or Equivalent, Preferred: PhD/Doctorate - Hospital Administration
