Equipment/Supply Tech

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department director and supervisors: maintains proper inventory of all respiratory and diagnostics supplies, to include purchasing and stocking. Performs high level sterilization and disinfecting of bronchoscopes using multiple step processes. Performs cleaning audits and acts as the department's environmental inspector.

EXPERIENCE: Computer skills: Microsoft Office. Experience in equipment and supply inventory, purchasing and stocking. Familiar with antiseptic techniques. Providing timely, effective and efficient work ethics.

SPECIAL SKILLS:Great organizational skills, good communication skills, good time management skills, attention to detail.

OTHER: Preferred past experience in Cold Sterilization or Mechanical Disinfecting.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or MA (Certified/Registered Medical Assistant)

EDUCATION: Required: Technical/Certificate - Healthcare Related Field
