Supervisor Patient Care

SUMMARY: The Patient Care Supervisor for the Staffing Operations Director will assist with the daily operations of the Float Pool and the Staffing Office. The Patient Care Supervisor will also be a resource for team leadership, guidance, staff development, and staff support to the Float Pool, Clinical Associates, Nursing Payroll, and Staffing Coordinators. This person will be available to round on staff and support them in the successful implementation of hospital and unit initiatives.

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years specialty experience. Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

OTHER: Basic computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communicate skills are required. Certification in specialty area preferred.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Nursing, Preferred: Masters - Nursing
