Clinical Dietitian

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Food and Nutrition Department, provides medical nutrition therapy for patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status. This may include, but is not limited to, nutritional assessments to determine need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support & nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes/diet modifications. The Dietitian is also accountable for completing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of clinical nutrition is preferred. Experience in ICU nutrition support is strongly preferred.

 

LICENSE/CERT: Dietitian - State of Missouri within 6 months of hire.

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Dietetics, Preferred: Masters - Nutrition
