SUMMARY: SUMMARY: As a Regulator Compliance Coordinator, provides an organized approach to the regulatory and accrediting survey preparedness, including Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission. Position provides oversight for the revision of policies, procedures, forms, and order sets. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards, acute care hospital policy and procedures and process improvement. Required to work autonomously, be highly motivated, responsible, with strong organizational skills, and positive interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and establish strong working relationships.

EXPERIENCE: Relevant hospital knowledge or 2 to 5 Years of position-related experience. Must communicate effectively with peers, physicians, clinical and administrative staff. Knowledge of and experience with the NFPA Life Safety standards.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge of, and experience with the conducting Life Safety Surveys.

LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: Certified Life Safety Specialist for Health Care
