Occupational Health Nurse Specialist

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Nurse liaison with injured workers in the Emergency Department, hospital, clinics and the employer.The Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (OHNS) integrates and communicates clinical guidelines, protocols and other metrics in development of transition plans that are patient-centered, promoting quality and efficiency in the delivery of care.

EXPERIENCE: Occupational Health or Emergency Department experience preferred. Health coaching experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Microsoft Office and Outlook, excellent written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills

OTHER: Strong attention to detail, relationship building, flexible to meet the needs of the team

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing
