Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialist - RN

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Efficiently engage and attract qualified and competent RN, LPN, and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) within the Division of Nursing. Develop and sustain pipelines for candidate flow. Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing recruitment plan in collaboration with NKCH Nursing Leadership and Human Resources. Integrate a thorough knowledge of recruitment and retention activities with expertise in contemporary nursing practices and care delivery systems to design and manage recruitment/sourcing initiatives that aid in meeting current and future staffing needs. Specific responsibilities include the development/implementation of recruitment plans, applicant interviews and correspondence, sourcing candidates, creating pipelines of candidates, and establishing relationships with schools of nursing both RN and LPN and UAP programs.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience. Preferred experience in candidate recruitment and selection.

OTHER: Knowledge of human resources management as applied to nursing with recruitment and selection experience. Knowledge of contemporary nursing care practices and care delivery structures. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and customer service skills. Effective organization, planning and follow-up skills. Knowledge and experience of HRIS for recruitment purposes, and experience in the use of computers applications for Word processing and statistical analysis purposes; Excel skills preferred. Processing leads through the CRM system that HR uses to establish pipelines.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri Preferred: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
