Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Radiology Operations Supervisor, provides supervision, direction, and clinical competency evaluations ofradiography students in the clinical areas. Performs radiographic procedures, provides reinforcement and instruction through demonstration of procedures, positioning skills, and film critique. Prepares and maintains student rotational schedules, clinical records, and student attendance as well as assisting with advising and counseling students according to guidelines.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years as radiographer.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge or background in various imaging modalities and principles.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiology)
EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Related Field, Preferred: Bachelors - Related Field
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years as radiographer.
