Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under direction of the Reporting and Analytics Director, the CCL/Discern Programmer will work collaboratively with the CORE and Informatics teams to provide technical support for planning, documentation, and administration of Information/clinical decision support across the clinical and operational user base. This position includes the development and revision of custom CCL programs and reports. Creation and maintenance of corresponding documentation, and facilitation of user support and validation.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years CCL programming experience required. Cerner Discern Analytics: must possess understanding of Cerner data model; proven abilities in complex report writing and system lifecycle concepts. Healthcare IT experience is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong analytical skills, ability to focus and prioritize in fast paced environment. Other preferred): SQL, HPUX, and Business Objects preferred.
LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: SQL Server Certification
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Computer Programming, Bachelors - Related Field
