Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Responsible for the physical handling, installation, and tracking of IT hardware and software assets. Works within the ServiceNow platform to document assets, manage requests, and work to keep our equipment and licensing running optimally and with fiscal responsibility. Requires teamwork to plan, compile and build the Asset Management Program to ensure standardization and compliance. Also responsible for our CMDB and providing analytical, operational, and administrative support for the company's IT Asset Management Program to include software and hardware asset tracking, compliance, maintenance, life cycle planning and costing.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of concentrated hands-on experience in Inventory/Asset Management, managing and configuring in Windows based environments and experience in ServiceNow Service Deployment Platform. (Preferred). Experience with Network Systems and Terminologies (Preferred). CAD or 3D modeling/Printing Experience (Preferred).
SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge of software and hardware terminology. Knowledge of purchasing ordering systems, billing, and invoicing. Strong organization and time management skills are necessary to manage multiple priorities and/or tasks. Introduce new ideas and processes which improve performance and productivity. Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving. Ability to work in a team environment contributing to a positive environment.Prioritize projects and tasks to meet deadlines as decided by IT Leadership.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: CAMP (Certified Asset Management Professional), CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional) Preferred: CMAM (Certified Mobility Asset Management), CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager)
EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Computer Related Field, Preferred: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Computer Related Field
