Summary
SUMMARY: The Project Manager will work in partnership with leaders of the hospital to help initiate, approve, prioritize and execute projects. This role will create structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time, collaboration, and budget constraints. Ensures proper planning is in place at a high level to determine whether the capacity is there to take on new work for the prioritized project portfolio. The Project Manager will carry out the coordinated organization, direction and implementation of complex and interrelated projects to achieve outcomes and realize benefits of strategic importance.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects; 3+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation with full product lifecycle with understanding of development/project lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership.
OTHER:Solid written and verbal technical communication skills.Proven ability to deliver solutions in collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional) from Project Management Institute, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster)
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Related Field
