SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and Supervisor, maintains clinical databases through coding and abstracting of medical records.

OTHER: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; successfully complete coding test

LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator), RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent, Other - Related Coursework
