Operating Engr-Plant Ops/Chill Mechanic

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: HVAC Mechanics perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigerant containing equipment/systems to all required specifications. HVAC Mechanics shall have at least five years of journeyman level experience in the field of maintenance, repair, andoperation of buildings such as: air conditioning equipment mechanic, refrigeration equipment mechanic, Operating Engineer, HVAC control systems mechanic, etc.

SPECIAL SKILLS: General knowledge of computers; computer logic controllers; automated control and energy management systems; maintenance HVAC systems; repair and maintenance of water and DX type chillers; operation and control of familiar with aspects of HVAC commissioning; operation, repair.

OTHER: 5 years� experience and extensive knowledge of: Chiller Mechanic services maintain and break down all aspects and multiple types of chillers, including air, water, absorption, screw, centrifugal chillers, fans, filters, expansion valves, condensers, and compressors, heat exchangers, evaporators, among other components

LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: EPA-Refrigeration (Section 608 Technician), Operating Engineer License (City of KC, MO)

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent, Technical/Certificate - Related Coursework
