SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director-Nursing, the Emergency Department RN works in a multidimensional setting. Emergency nursing practice involves the assessment, analysis, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation of intervention

EXPERIENCE: Previous Emergency Department experience or one year critical care experience

SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic EKG; Hazmat within 1 year of hire; Incident Command training (ICS 100, 200, and 700) within 6 months of hire.

OTHER: Basic Computer Skills

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 1 year of hire, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) within 1 year of hire

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing, Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
