We are currently seeking a RN for our Cardiology practice, who will work in our Cardiology clinics across the Northland. If you are committed to providing quality, compassionate care, then we want you!
Provide patient care under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner or other non-physician provider.
The RN competently assists providers to maximize patient volume, administers medications, returns patient calls in a timely manner and monitors cardiac stress testing. This position ensures effective patient communication and efficient patient flow as well as accurately and timely documentation of patient care. The RN must have the ability to perform EMR tasks correctly and timely. Utilizes proper follow up to ensure the specialist report or test result is received and reviewed by the physician. Follows all regulatory and patient safety clinical standards.
Works and communicates effectively with all providers. Promotes teamwork and provides great customer service in person and on the telephone. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism by articulating and demonstrating professional behavior, accepting responsibility and accountability for actions, adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating leadership and supporting Meritas initiatives.
This position will work in all Meritas Cardiology clinics across the Northland, so must be flexible on location.
- Education – Graduate of accredited Program of Nursing
- Licensure - Current active RN license to practice in Missouri
- Certifications – BLS and ACLS required
- Experience – Minimum 2 year recent inpatient or outpatient experience
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks EMR
- Knowledge of GE Centricity
- Knowledge of Cerner
- 2+ years working in a Cardiology practice
