Referral/Pre Auth Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Referral/Pre-Authorization Coordinator for our Gashland practice.  This position schedules referral appointments for our busy office by completing required pre-certifications and pre-authorizations accurately and timely. You'll be scheduling outpatient referrals, relaying test preparation instructions, hospital registration requirements, and physician instructions, so a strong attention to detail is very important. 

Having a thorough working knowledge of various insurance company referral and precertification requirements will set you apart from other candidates.  You'll need to be organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a patient-centered mindset to ensure we are providing the best patient experience.  Previous experience in a physician office setting is required; Neurosurgery experience preferred, and knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and diagnosis coding experience is a plus.
