Summary
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Revenue Integrity Supervisor, manages all tasks necessary to ensure Charge Description Master (CDM) meets all compliance and financial requirements. Perform duties related to CDM requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years of Revenue Integrity related experience or previous experience in a hospital coding position is required
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong judgement skills in handling difficult situations; ability to work in fast-paced environment; ability to problem solve issues where analysis and complex decision making is required; decisions and actions have direct impact on hospital financials. Excellent customer service and communications skills required.

OTHER:
- Skilled in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and One Note.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, UB-04, CPT/HCPCS, modifiers, payer policy, and EOB's.
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) within 1 year of hire, CPC-AAPC (Certified Professional Coder - AAPC) within 1 year of hire.
