Medical Assistant (Certified/Registered)

Meritas Occupational Medicine provides services to a variety of employers throughout the Kansas City area.   

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with providers to maximize patient care
• Taking vitals
• Completing pre-employment testing such as breath alcohol testing, drug screens, fit-testing (qualitative and quantitative), lab draws, and vision testing
• Applying DME for injuries and assisting with injury care
• Communicates effectively with patients and co-workers
• Provide patients with excellent customer service

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience as a CMA
• Medical assistant certification
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Basic office skills
