Your mission:
As a CMA, you'll be working side-by-by with a physician to provide compassionate care to our patients, making a difference in their lives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with providers to maximize patient care
- Rooms patients taking their vitals and documenting in the system (Cerner)
- Goes over current medication list and updates EMR
- Charts chief complaint and prepares patient for the provider
- Administers medications per direction of provider
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Returns phone calls to patients and provides them education
- Communicates effectively with patients and co-workers
- Provide patients with excellent customer service
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of medical office experience
- Medical assistant certification
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Basic office skills
- Ability to work at a quick pace and multi-task
