Referral/Pre Auth Coordinator - Part Time

Your Mission:

To schedule referral appointments for our busy office by completing required pre-certifications and pre-authorizations. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Completing pre-certifications and authorizations
• Scheduling outpatient referrals
• Relaying test preparation instructions to patients
• Messaging hospital registration requirements to patients
• Providing patients with physician instructions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a physician office setting
• Strong Customer Service experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Thorough working knowledge of various insurance companies is a plus
• Basic office skills - ability to navigate a variety of computer systems
• CPT and diagnosis coding experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to remain HIPAA compliant
• Excellent organization skills
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
