Supervisor Admitting

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Patient Access Director, is responsible for the efficient and effective operation in the Access Department of face-to-face check-in of patients in all ancillary areas, including ED, Direct Admit, all outpatient locations (both on- and off-site), as well as co-pay, pre-registration, pre-certification, and insurance verification processes. Maintains positive relationships with insurance representatives and vendors.

EXPERIENCE:3-5 years experience in Patient Access preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:Excellent customer service and communication skills required; excellent judgement skills in handling difficult situations.

OTHER:Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OneNote.

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Business, Preferred: Bachelors - Related Field
