Summary

SUMMARY: The Coordinator / PI Facilitator reports to the Senior Director of Performance Improvement and is responsible for coordinating and driving progress of robust process improvement projects; collaborates within PI Department to coordinate organizational PI work among PI Specialist / Data analyst. Works collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization including process owners, organization leaders and physicians. This includes both directly facilitating and supporting PI Specialist / Data analyst in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and performance initiatives collaboratively with key stakeholders. Provides organizational staff support in the development, implementation and evaluation of performance improvement to include but not limited to: regulatory survey readiness activities, disease specific care certifications and/or registries and related clinical outcomes, patient safety related clinical outcomes, regulatory and contracted value related clinical outcomes.

EXPERIENCE:Three to 5 years Clinical Healthcare experience or Performance Improvement experience. Demonstrated ability to facilitate group discussion. Demonstrated ability to manage a project from start to finish including steps to identify, design, measure, analyze, improve, control, and spread improvement.

SPECIAL SKILLS:Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent time management and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in data applications such as Power BI, Statit, or other similar; proficient in Cerner EHR or other comparable EHR; Experience with comparative databases and /or registries. Note: Special skills may be required for assigned areas of focus.

LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality), Lean Six Sigma Certification, PMP (Project Management Professional), RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Health Care Related, Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
