Coordinator Patient Access Educator

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Patient Access, this position is responsible for functions related to identifying and providing employee education, department analytics and operational improvements. This a collaborative role between the Patient Access and Financial Clearance team, as well as all Revenue Cycle areas. The Educator is responsible for designing, updating, and providing training to new hires and existing staff. Optimizing workflows to incorporate best practice guidelines.

EXPERIENCE: 5 years� experience training/educating or as a team lead (not required to be healthcare-specific) or 5 years� experience working in a business office or health care revenue cycle setting. Knowledge on Patient Access/Financial Clearance responsibilities.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with various levels of staff and management. Must have strong analytical skills and ability to report trends/audits in an organized manner. Must be able to prioritize and self-manage for training, tasks, and educational need.

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Related Field, Preferred: Bachelors - Related Field
