Summary

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Quality and Care Continuum, works in a collaborative fashion with patients/families/caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, as well as postacute providers to ensure every patient receives comprehensive, timely, safe, cost-effective, and quality healthcare services. Proactively works autonomously and in team settings along with excellent communication skills with patients/families/caregivers and providers.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years of orthopedic nursing experience. Working knowledge of alternative payment methodology, insurance coverage, postacute providers, and community resources. Case Management experience is a plus.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to gather, track, and analyze data and outcomes of program initiatives and reimbursement models. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, computer and organizational skills are required.

OTHER: Demonstrates strong organizational, critical thinking, analytical, and leadership skills, and the ability to work in teams and prioritize patient needs.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Nursing
