RN Coordinator Community Health

SUMMARY: The Community Health Coordinator(CHC) is responsible for all clinical aspects of the North Kansas City Hospital community and employer health fairs, events and education. The CHC advises, evaluates, organizes, monitors and maintains the appropriate level of clinical oversight for health fairs, screenings, programs and other related activities of the Community Health and Wellness program.

EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience in a nursing or related field, with emphasis on preventative health and wellness preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to improve the health of our community. Proficient in basic office skills and practices, including software management, word processing, letter writing and others. Experience creating and presenting educational offerings is strongly preferred.

OTHER: Understanding of community relations and / or marketing and its role in a hospital environment.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri Preferred: BLS Instructor (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Nursing
