Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY:Responsible for administration of NKCH employee benefit plans. Develops, recommends, and implements new and revised benefit plans. Assures benefit plans are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
EXPERIENCE:At least five years progressively responsible experience in benefits.
SPECIAL SKILLS:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong familiarity with HRIS systems (Infor preferred), HR policies and Microsoft Office Suite.
OTHER:Knowledge of compliance issues as they relate to benefits.
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Human Resources, Equivalent Experience - Related Field

Additional Information
The Director of Benefits of North Kansas City Hospital is responsible for administration of NKCH employee benefits plans. They would develop, recommend and implement new and revised benefit plans. They would ensure benefit plans are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. They would monitor the industry and external market and provide analysis of relevant developments in the benefits area. They would draft new and revised policies, benefit plans/plan changes as it relates to various programs. Provides professional support and development to all levels of management and human resource colleagues on related benefits and policy issues. Serves as a liaison with benefit vendors and coordinators annual renewal for each plan. The chosen candidate, along with benefits staff, educate current and new employees regarding their benefit options and troubleshoots employees’ issues.
We are seeking someone with at least 5 years of progressive benefit experience, excellent verbal, and written skills. Strong experience with HRIS systems, HR policies and Microsoft Office Suite.
