Resp Therapist Cert-PRN II

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department director and guidance of department supervisor, administers as assigned Respiratory Therapy modalities ordered by physician. Primary areas assigned include general floor units, and may be assigned to the critical care units as the secondary therapist assisting the primary therapist. Able to perform ABGs and other respiratory modalities as assigned for the general floor patients.

EXPERIENCE: One year preferred.

OTHER: Current CRT from the NBRC

LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CRTT (Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician)

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Respiratory Therapy
