Clinical Dietitian

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Food and Nutrition Department, provides medical nutrition therapy for patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status on ICU units. This may include; nutritional assessments to determine need for nutritional supplementation or nutrition support; Development of nutrition intervention plans; Nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes/diet modifications. The Dietitian is also accountable for completing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of clinical nutrition is preferred. Experience in ICU nutrition support is strongly preferred. 

LICENSE/CERT: Required: Dietitian - State of Missouri

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Dietetics, Preferred: Masters - Nutrition
