Coordinator Bronchoscopy Lab

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department director; coordinate all the diagnostic bronchoscopies studies and administers all respiratory therapy modalities as ordered by physicians. The procedures include but are not limited to; broncho-thermoplasty, navigational bronchoscopy, endo-broncho- ultrasound procedures and therapeutic and diagnostic general bronchoscopies. Supervise the high level cleaning operation. Oversees the ordering of all special biopsy equipment and supplies. Ensures all par levels are kept accordingly and both bronch rooms are ready for the next procedure in a timely manner. Coordinator procedures to ensure all staffing needs are met and procedures are on time. This includes physicians, nursing and respiratory therapist.

EXPERIENCE:One-two years performing bronchoscopies.

SPECIAL SKILLS:Attention to detail, great communication skills, Microsoft experience.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RT (Respiratory Therapist), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Respiratory Therapy, Preferred: Bachelors - Business, Bachelors - Related Field
