Senior Project Manager

SUMMARY: Works with the Director of ITS Operations in the oversight of critical service delivery projects throughout the Technology Services Division with a focus on providing project management in an efficient, cost effective, and customer friendly manner. The Senior Project Manager will carry out the coordinated organization, direction and implementation of complex and interrelated projects to achieve outcomes and realize benefits of strategic importance. The Senior Project Manager will manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and PMI/SDLC control guidelines throughout the full implementation lifecycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.8+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation with full product lifecycle with understanding of development/project lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.

SPECIAL SKILLS:Project management, business analysis, Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines, High level of autonomy, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office.Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / WaterfallIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional) from Project Management Institute, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Related Field
