Summary
SUMMARY: The PI Specialist is responsible for driving the progress of robust process improvement projects.
- Works collaboratively with key stakeholders including process owners, organization leaders and physicians, which includes developing, implementing and maintaining quality and performance initiatives.
- Provides organizational staff support in the development, implementation and evaluation of performance improvement to include but not limited to:
- Regulatory survey readiness activities
- Disease specific care certifications and/or registries and related clinical outcomes
- Patient Safety related clinical outcomes
- Regulatory and Contracted Value related clinical outcomes
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of clinical healthcare experience or performance improvement experience
SPECIAL SKILLS: Good communication skills, and good Office Word skills (especially Excel)
OTHER: Good attendance and attention to detail.
LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Related Field
