Senior Accountant / Analyst

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accounting Analyst applies business processes and analytical skills in a dynamic environment to support the reporting of the organization's financial results. Responsibilities include:

EXPERIENCE: 5 years of related Accounting experience. Healthcare experience is preferred. Knowledge of not-for-profit accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Highly skilled in data collection and analysis with advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables and complex formulas). Responsible for understanding and utilizing all accounting information systems including general ledger, management reporting, budgeting, and capital tracking systems.

OTHER: Proactively responds to commitments. Takes specific actions to improve own work methods or systems. Develops and implements new and unique ideas. Demonstrates through verbal and non-verbal communication's openness to change or new ideas. Demonstrates flexibility to fluctuating workload and effectively prioritizes assignments. Exhibits a positive attitude in support of the hospital and management, including decisions made by administration and/or management. Embraces continuous learning.
